This is a task that I greatly enjoyed. Several family members already have flickr accounts which my family and I have have used extentsively to review trips, memorablia, etc. Its a great way to share experiences almost immediately with friends and relations, as well as a useful tool for more business/professional necessities. One aspect that I especially find appealing is the ability to have photos available to everyone or to restrict their viewing to a limited audience of your chosing. Tags are important to relay specific information or for identification.

This next task was quite simple and I had little difficulty completing it. Since I do follow several blogs already, this was very interesting to me and I am sure I'll enjoy using it to keep current much more easily. I subscribed to Reuters headlines and USA Today critics corner to try out the program.
Greetings from Marion
After a few false starts, I am finally on my way. Learning 2.0 will be a bit of a challenge, however, I'm sure that it will be an interesting journey. This will be of great assistance in coming to grips with both new technology and the interests of many of our patrons. Speaking a common language is always helpful, and I will certainly have a lot to learn. Even though I have a very proficient and widely read blogger in the family, this is still a real learning experience.
